Youth Ministry

About Our Youth
Our youth group is for students in grades 6-12. It is the perfect place for young people to come and learn with us. We believe that exploring and understanding our faith is an ongoing journey, and we are committed to supporting our members as they deepen their faith and grow in their personal relationships with God. Whether you have been a Christian for many years or are just starting to explore your beliefs, there is a place for you at our Youth Group. “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

Wednesday night services: 5:15 P.M. Light Supper in Fellowship Hall, 6:00 PM Bible Study in Youth Room

Come enjoy games, great worship music, and experience God’s word come to life through practical teaching and illustration.

We understand that the teenage years can be difficult to navigate for many, but we also know that they are integral for spiritual growth and maturity. Our Youth Group seeks to meet students’ unique needs while ensuring a solid foundation of biblical truth that prepares them to confront and navigate the obstacles they encounter.

Come and see what we are all about!

Sunday School 9:30 A.M. Youth Room, Worship 10:30 A.M. Sanctuary
Youth Sunday School is a safe place where students can ask questions and grow more in their faith and knowledge of the Bible. Youth teachers seek to develop a blueprint for students’ walks with Christ. We would love to see you on Sunday mornings.

Mission
Our goal as a youth ministry is to faithfully serve God in everything we do, as we strive to live a life worthy to our calling. The purpose of our ministry is to equip, lead, encourage, and help aid in the growth of the students’ spiritual lives. We want to see our youth using their God-given talents to bring praise and honor to Jesus Christ. We want to be a part of the students’ lives as they realize the power they have to change the world with Jesus Christ.

Volunteers

All volunteers working with children under the age of 18 are required to watch the Child Protection Video and take the test related to the video. The test needs to be printed out, completed, and turned in to the church office. Click here for the Child Protection Training Manual. You are also required to fill out an application for volunteer workers who will work with children and give permission for a background check. The church also needs a copy of your driver’s license to keep on file. All information is confidential.
