Men’s Ministry

We are still getting organized (unlike our ladies!). We enjoy our monthly Prayer Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall on the second Saturday each month, 8:00 a.m. We eat breakfast and visit around the tables followed by a short devotion and prayer. All men and boys are welcome. We also have several men who like to keep the grounds at the church looking nice: mowing, weed-eating, fertilizing, etc.

We have a new men’s ministry group: Iron on Iron. The group is meeting every other Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. around the fire pit by the pavilion. This group is for adult men only. We will discuss Biblical truths and problems we face as Christian men in this world. This group is not to make you feel sad or depressed about being a man. We won’t beat each other up! This group is to uplift men and make you a stronger representative for Christ in your family and your job. In this group no one man is the teacher, we are a group. All teaching will be done by members of the group. After each meeting volunteers will be asked to take the lead for the next meeting.

Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, January 8, at 6:00 p.m. Luke Tarbutton will be leading the first Bible study on Proverbs 27:17. Eat supper before you come to the first meeting. If the weather isn’t cooperative, we’ll move to the Fellowship Hall.

Worship Ministry

At Trinity Baptist Church our Minister of Music and choir lead us in a blended style of worship music on Sunday mornings. And we have a traditional style of worship music on Sunday evenings. Our goal is to follow scripture as we lead the church family to worship our Lord:

but be filled by the Spirit: speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music with your heart to the Lord” Ephesians 5:18b-19

Let the word of Christ dwell richly among you, in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.” Colossians 3:16

Choir rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings after Bible study. The choir presents two cantatas annually (most years) at Easter and Christmas.

We are looking for a drummer and bass guitar play to play with Bro. Eddie (acoustic guitar), piano, and organ for Sunday morning worship.

Youth Ministry

About Our Youth
Our youth group is for students in grades 6-12.

Wednesday night services 6:00 P.M.
This is our Mid-week Worship service. Please come enjoy this time: playing games, meeting new friends, worshiping in songs, and learning about God and His plans for our lives.

Sunday School 9:30 A.M.
We would love to see you on Sunday mornings. Our Sunday School group is split between Middle School and High School. This allows us to get to know the people that are our age as we strive to learn what God has planned for us.

Mission
Our goal as a youth ministry is to faithfully serve God in everything we do, as we strive to live a life worthy to our calling. The purpose of our ministry is to equip, lead, encourage, and help aid in the growth of the students’ spiritual lives. We want to see our youth using their God-given talents to bring praise and honor to Jesus Christ. We want to be a part of the students’ lives as they realize the power they have to change the world with Jesus Christ.
